Samhain - Staurolite

Staurolite often appears as two pieces joining together as a cross. The crystals found on staurolite are sometimes referred to as faery crosses – as it was once believed to be created by the tears of faeries who couldn't help but cry when hearing the news of Christ’s crucifixion.

Staurolite is a grounding stone. It is this grounding that aids in the connection to the earth and to other worlds. It's a useful stone for opening your inner eye, widening your vision and is used by some as a tool to psychically communicate with the animal kingdom.

Staurolite helps to remove destructive habits from your life, e.g. addictions, assists in balancing our emotions, and can bring feelings of protection and safety to you and those around you.

It relieves stress, dissipates anxiety, and helps to calm and relax.
